📣Earlier this week, we wrapped up the 2025 Residential Paving Program! This season, Street Ops crews paved 73.5 blocks under the voter-approved Tacoma Street Initiative 1, 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝟳𝟬 ...𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀.
📍Areas paved: S Winnifred St from 6th Av to Street End South
❓What’s next? We’re now turning our focus to Pothole Palooza 2025, kicking off on September 30, 2025. Stay tuned for project schedules that will be shared in the coming weeks. Then, in mid-October, we’ll host a two-day Snow and Ice Training for staff so we're fully prepared for the upcoming winter season.
