The Hylebos Bridge is scheduled to close on June 11, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., while crews work to replace its centerlock.
The centerlock is a vital safety component that engages when the bridge is closed, locking the spans together to ensure stability for vehicles and preventing the spans from lifting during transit. Replacing this part is essential to maintain the continued safe and reliable operation of the bridge.
