At approximately 12:23 a.m. on August 27, 2026, Tacoma Police responded to a local area hospital after being notified that a victim suffering from a gunshot wound had arrived by personal vehicle.
A short time later, officers were notified that the victim had died as a result of their injuries.
Officers are actively searching for the crime scene.
Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians responded to investigate the incident as a homicide.
