The City of Tacoma’s Public Works Department Street Operations Division will perform road repairs on South 19th Street – from South Jackson Avenue to Grandview Drive West – January 5 – 9. Work will take place daily from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
During active construction hours, traffic will be reduced to one lane to allow vehicles to continue moving through the area. Motorists should expect potential delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible.
No full road closures are anticipated as part of this project. Access and traffic patterns for nearby neighborhoods, including areas bordering University Place, may be impacted during construction.
This work is weather-dependent, and timing may be subject to change. Notice boards with the latest project information will be posted at the site. Drivers are reminded to use caution when traveling through the area.
