Project Overview
The project will provide an enhanced driving surface on the Northbound and Southbound ramps to/from Interstate 705 and the Tacoma downtown area. This project will install a new cement concrete overlay on the ramp decks, new bridge deck expansion joints, and safety upgrades including a new crash attenuator at the beginning of the Northbound ramp.
