South 11th Street and Ernest S Brazill Protected Bike Lane Couplet

Project Overview

On Earnest S Brazill, the project will construct an east-bound protected bike lane and west-bound sharrows from South M Street to South Grant Street with bicycle detection. Utility work and signal improvements, including accessible pedestrian signals and bicycle detection, will be installed as needed throughout the project. Similarly, on South 11th Street, this project will construct a west-bound protected bike lane and east-bound sharrows from South M Street to South Grant Street.

This work will be completed in coordination with the South 11th Street Paving project, which will complete a grind and overlay on South 11th Street. Pedestrian improvements are planned for the 11th Street intersections at:

• Ridgewood Avenue
• South Grant Avenue
• South Ainsworth Avenue
• South Cushman Avenue
• South I Street
