Project Overview
The Sheridan Avenue Complete Streets 56th to 84th Program will provide improved connections between major arterial streets, a safer walking and biking route to Wapato Park and traffic calming measures to reduce vehicular speeds. Phase 1 of this project will reconstruct Sheridan Avenue between South 64th Street and South 72nd streets by narrowing traffic lanes, adding a shared use path on the Wapato Park side, and sidewalk on the east side with curb and gutter. Utilities such as Water, Stormwater, Power, and Natural Gas will be upgraded prior to and during roadway construction.
