McKinley Overlook

Project Overview

This project will improve the overlook area along East 32nd Street and provide a useable, public greenspace for the community. Included in this project are planted landscape areas with a sidewalk pathway, interpretive signing, viewfinders, garbage cans, seating, lights, and defined parking spaces. This space will make use of the viewpoint and promote active transportation, improve safety and limit vehicular speeding, reduce littering, and build a cohesive sense of community. Future placemaking and arts will be incorporated throughout the project after construction is complete.
