The community is invited to attend Arts at the Armory, a vibrant two-day arts market taking place on November 15 and 16, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the historic Tacoma Armory (1001 S. Yakima Ave.).
Featuring more than 130 Tacoma-based artists across a range of mediums, including printmaking, painting, glass, textiles, jewelry, sculpture, photography, literary arts, and more, Arts at the Armory offers a free, all-ages opportunity to connect with local creatives, explore Tacoma’s diverse arts scene, and shop for one-of-a-kind handmade gifts. A local, independently-owned coffee shop will be on-site, as will a local food truck.
Attendees are encouraged to use public transportation, carpool, or explore nearby street and lot parking options around the Tacoma Armory.
The event — presented by the City of Tacoma Community & Economic Development Department’s Arts & Cultural Vitality Division in partnership with event sponsor Tacoma Arts Live — is an extension of Tacoma Arts Month, a citywide celebration of arts and culture held each October. It aims to support artists and foster creative community connections year-round.
