The City of Tacoma will observe Independence Day on Friday, July 4 and all administrative offices will be closed.
The Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center (3510 S. Mullen St.) will also be closed on Friday, July 4 and there will be no garbage, recycling, or food/yard waste pickups on that day. All curbside collection pickups throughout the week will occur one day later, with Friday pickups occurring Saturday.
While emergency response services will remain operational, there will be no parking enforcement by City staff on Friday, July 4.
All Tacoma Public Library locations will be closed on Friday, July 4.
