Apply for a Permit

Permitting is a core mission of the City of Tacoma. Whether it’s an event, sign permit, or a multi-million dollar commercial development, it must pass through the permitting office. Building, Planning, Environmental Services, and Fire departments all need access to the same information for review, inspection and planning activities, so we use the Tacoma Permits system to streamline this process and improve the customer experience.
