How to Apply for Committees, Boards, and Commissions
The City of Tacoma has a number of volunteer Committees, Boards, Commissions and Authorities that advise and make recommendations to the City Council and/or City staff. You can only serve on one Committee, Board, or Commission (CBC) at a time. Member applications are accepted throughout the year.
Use the form listed below to submit an online CBC application. In addition to the application, resumes and/or letters of recommendations may also be submitted. If you are not selected this quarter for the Committee, Board, or Commission of your choice, your application will be kept on file for future consideration.
Note: Your application and any attachments you send are subject to public disclosure. Certain information is exempt from disclosure. Refer to RCW 42.56 for information on state law regarding public records and certain records that are exempt from public disclosure.
