This Council committee focuses on policies, issues, programs and services may include, but are not limited to: business climate policies and processes; capital projects planning and development; development services; downtown parking; economic development and redevelopment issues and opportunities; festivals and special events; Foss Waterway; historic preservation; trade and development; mixed use development; military and veteran affairs; Neighborhood Business Districts; Port of Tacoma issues; tourism and hospitality; and workforce development.
