Climate and Sustainability Commission

The Climate and Sustainability Commission oversees implementation of Tacoma’s Climate Action Plan as the City and community reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It is intended to bring citizen accountability, transparency, and vigilance to the long-term implementation of Tacoma’s Climate Action Plan, as developed by the Green Ribbon Climate Action Task Force.

Hybrid meetings are held every third Thursday from 5-7 p.m. Commission members and members of the public can participate in the monthly Zoom meeting virtually or at Tacoma Municipal Building in Room 248.
