The City Council will hold a special meeting on April 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., to attend a discussion on independent civilian oversight of the Tacoma Police Department, as part of the community town hall initiated and hosted by the Tacoma Pierce County Coalition.
The special meeting will be held at the Evergreen State College, Tacoma Campus, located at 1210 6th Avenue.
