City Council Special Meeting – City Manager Recruitment

City Council special meetings will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 10:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. The purpose of the special meetings is to conduct City Manager candidate interviews, presentations, and executive sessions to evaluate the qualifications of applicants for public employment. Public comment will not be taken at these special meetings.

10:15 a.m. – Tacoma Municipal Building, 747 Market Street, Council Chambers, First Floor

• City Manager Candidate Interviews, and
• Executive Sessions – Evaluate the Qualifications of Applicants for Public Employment.

3:15 p.m. – Tacoma Dome, 2727 East “D” Street

• Executive Session – Evaluate the Qualifications of Applicants for Public Employment,
• Opening Remarks / Community Event Kick-Off, and
• City Manager Candidate Presentations and Questions and Answers.
