Join the City ’s Equity in Contracting (EIC) Program for Capital Ready: Preparing Businesses for Growth in Public Contracting, an interactive panel discussion and networking event designed to help Tacoma-area businesses better understand their financing options and build relationships with local capital providers. Attendees will hear from representatives from local to national banking institutions.

The discussion will focus on:

• Financing readiness
• Working capital
• Lender expectations
• Common barriers to obtaining capital
• Funding solutions that can support growth, equipment purchases, contract performance, and larger public-sector opportunities

Before and after the panel discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with lenders and business resource partners.

This workshop creates an interactive learning environment where small businesses gain practical knowledge, tools, and confidence to engage in government contracting opportunities.
