Special Meeting | City’s Events and Recognitions Committee Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the City’s Events and Recognitions Committee meeting of Wednesday, July 15, 2026, has been cancelled and will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center located at 1500 Commerce St. Tacoma, WA 98402 at 4:00p.m.. The meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format that includes an
in-person component and a remote option.

The purpose of the special meeting is conduct regular meeting business.

The City’s Events and Recognitions Committee serves as an advisory and action committee for the City on matters pertaining to City-hosted events and special recognition programs. The Committee is responsible for planning, reviewing and evaluating events.

Hybrid meetings are held every third Wednesday of the month from 4 – 5:30 p.m. Committee members can participate in the monthly Zoom meeting virtually, on the phone, or at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center, 1550 Commerce Street, Tacoma, WA 98402
