Preparing the Bid Workshop
The City of Tacoma, in partnership with Washington APEX Accelerator, invites small businesses to join an interactive, instructor‑led workshop on Preparing to Bid. This in‑person session is designed to help businesses understand how to navigate government solicitations with confidence. Participants will learn how to interpret and analyze solicitation documents, apply a bid/no‑bid decision framework tailored to their operations, and use practical tools such as a customizable pre‑bid checklist.
Guided by government contracting advisors, attendees will gain the foundational skills needed to assess opportunity fit, prepare complete and competitive submissions, and strengthen their readiness for public contracting. To register or learn more, visit makeittacoma.com/events.
