Update Homicide Investigation – Arrest – 1200 block of South M Street

In the early morning hours of May 25, 2026, detectives developed probable cause to make an arrest for Murder in the Second Degree. An adult female was taken into custody and booked into the Pierce County Jail.

Just before 8:30 p.m. on May 24, 2026, Tacoma Police officers were called to a local hospital for a report of a possible stabbing victim who arrived via personal transport.

Upon arrival, officers were informed that the adult male had died at the hospital. Officers in the area were able to locate a crime scene in the 1200 block of South M Street.

Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians are actively investigating this incident as a homicide.
