Connect Tacoma: Safe Streets and Sidewalks Community Listening Session & Open House
Hey Tacoma! Join us in-person to chat about making our streets and sidewalks safer for everyone. This is your chance to share ideas, voice concerns, and connect with neighbors who care about public infrastructure and community safety. Let’s work together to build a more connected and safer Tacoma! Refreshments will be served.
The City of Tacoma is currently considering bringing a package to voters to fund residential street repairs, arterial improvements, and safety upgrades throughout the City. Connect Tacoma will replace the $400 million voter-approved Tacoma Streets Initiative, which ran from 2015-2025. At this session, we will discuss how the city should prioritize its future investments.
