Subcontractors can now register for the Grit City Connect networking event – co-hosted by the City of Tacoma, Tacoma Public Schools, Parks Tacoma, and the Port of Tacoma – to connect subcontractors with prime contractors and public agencies. It will be held on May 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at STAR Center (3873 S. 66th Street in Tacoma).
The event is designed to:
- Facilitate meaningful engagement between prime contractors and potential subcontractors, creating new connections while strengthening relationships established last year.
- Share insights into upcoming projects and procurement needs focused on construction, facilities maintenance and other public works opportunities, building on prior conversations and feedback from last year’s engagements.
- Promote continued networking and partnerships within our contracting community, supporting long-term relationship development and collaboration.
Subcontractors are encouraged to bring capabilities statements.
