Community Liaison Program
City of Tacoma Fire Department aims to ensure that individuals and families with unique medical requirements – such as those using complex medical equipment – are supported in emergent situations. Liaison visits provide the opportunity to discuss emergency protocol specified to your unique home environments.
The City of Tacoma Fire Department provides a free Community Liaison visit for individuals and families with unique medical requirements or complex medical equipment to discuss your specific needs during an emergency.
- Request a Visit
- Visit Confirmation – Once your request has been approved, a TFD representative will contact you to confirm the date, time, and location of your liaison visit.
- During the Visit – This time allows you to share critical medical information with us in preparation of a potential emergency. This includes medical equipment, history, and any current prescriptions.
