As part of its ongoing commitment to addressing disparities faced by historically underutilized businesses — including those owned by minorities, women, and socially and economically disadvantaged individuals — the City of Tacoma’s Equity in Contracting team will host a Small Business Technical Assistance Workshop on July 31, 2025, from 3 – 4:30 p.m. in the Tacoma Public Utilities Auditorium (3628 S. 35th St.).
This workshop will feature presentations and Q&A opportunities with subject matter experts on the following topics:
- Overview of the City of Tacoma’s Equity in Contracting Program
- Small Business Financing Opportunities through the City of Tacoma
- Washington Small Business Development Center Resources
- Technical Assistance from Business Impact Northwest
The event is free and will be offered in a hybrid format to accommodate both in-person and virtual participants.
