Land Survey Data

Tacoma’s Public Works Department provides survey services on a wide variety of complex capital improvement projects.

Projects can cover the full spectrum of typical municipal infrastructure improvements associated with Transportation, Wastewater and Surface Water and involve partnerships between the City’s Public Works and Environmental Services Departments as well as with Tacoma Public Utilities.

Work on projects is typically related to the following areas:

Citywide Horizontal and Vertical Control Monumentation Networks
Collection System Projects – Projects that focus on the municipal wastewater and surface water collection system capital improvements and associated roadway.
ADA improvements as well as state of the art green infrastructure (GIS/LID) and innovative surface water management components.
Municipal Transportation Projects – Roads, streets, alleys, bridges and both pedestrian and bicycle trails, not limited to Streets Initiative projects, arterial street improvements, Local Improvement Districts, and Corridor Improvements
