Pedestrian Mobility & Safety Improvements at South 56th Street and Pacific Avenue

Project Overview

This project will address the pedestrian safety concerns at the South 56th Street and Pacific Avenue intersection. As part of this project, all four corners of the intersection will be reconstructed. New pedestrian push buttons, bulb-outs, and accessible sidewalk access to nearby transit stops will be added as needed. The project also includes a grind and overlay of roadway pavement and minor stormwater improvements and channelization.
