Tacoma relies on the hard work of Environmental Services and Public Works employees to keep our city clean, safe, and running smoothly. Once part of Public Works, Environmental Services now operates as its own department. The two departments continue to work together closely to ensure Tacoma’s continued success; from maintaining streets and sewers to advancing environmental sustainability, these teams are essential to our community’s wellbeing.
