Arrest Made in Homicide Investigation – 7400 South Oakes Street

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, Tacoma Police officers responded to an address in the 7400 block of South Oakes Street on a report of a death investigation. When officers arrived, they found an adult male victim. Crime Scene Technicians and detectives responded to the scene. The incident was being investigated as a homicide. On January 6, 2025, detectives arrested an adult male in relation to the homicide investigation. He was booked into the Pierce County Jail for the offense of Murder in the First Degree. The investigation is still ongoing.
