Urban Design Board Meeting
The Urban Design Board is a civic commission established by the Tacoma City Council to support our community’s goals for a high-quality built environment.
The Tacoma Urban Design Board has three core functions that include providing early concept design guidance and making final design decisions for specific Urban Design Project Review (UDPR) permits; giving advisory input to the City of Tacoma on matters related to urban design; and serving as an educational resource to the community and an advocate for design excellence, benefiting all of Tacoma and its community members.
Hybrid meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Members of the public can participate virtually, on the phone, or in person at Tacoma Municipal Building in the Council Chambers.
