Fire is out. Building has significant fire, smoke, and water damage. All 6 units displaced. One cat found deceased (owner notified), possibly 1 cat still missing. Please continue to use alternate routes for at least another hour while crews continue putting out hot spots.

4000 blk S Warner St, 2:38pm - TFD is responding to an apartment fire with heavy smoke & flames that burned from ground floor, to 2nd floor, into the attic. Crews rescued 1 trapped occupant from building & transported them to a local hospital. At least 1 pet missing. MORE—>
Home is most likely a total loss. Fire also burned a detached garage and one vehicle.
1300 block E 65th St, 11:37am - TFD received calls from a neighbor about a fire on the backside of a home. Crews arrived, saw thick black smoke & flames coming from all sides of the house. No human injuries. 1 deceased cat. Fire under investigation.
