SUMMARY:Fern Hill Volunteer Work Party
DESCRIPTION:Join the City of Tacoma and Pierce Conservation District in caring for the Fern Hill Open Space. Activities include caring for existing plants\, removing weeds\, and mulching. This work supports water quality\, our local wildlife\, pollinators\, and the neighboring community. \nAll are welcome\, no experience necessary! Instruction\, gloves\, tools\, and snacks provided. \nFor exact meet up location and to sign up\, please RSVP here. \nYouth Policy: All minors will need to have a parent/legal guardian sign and bring a waiver to participate. Youth 15 and under need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. \nFor your safety and comfort please bring: \n\nClothing that can get dirty\nLong pants and sleeves\nSturdy shoes (closed toed shoes required\, no sandals or flats)\nRain gear and warm layers (the event will happen rain or shine)\nFull water bottle!
