As a result\, any hearings conducted by the Hearing Examiner’s Office that include public testimony (e.g.\, rezones\, street vacations\, local improvement districts) as part of the agenda will\, of necessity\, have a public attendance component\, and unless otherwise noticed\, attendance will be possible in the City Council Chambers located at the Tacoma Municipal Building at 747 Market Street. \nIn order to expand opportunity for attendance\, these in-person hearings will still have a remote attendance option (via the internet or telephone) over the Zoom platform. As a result\, any hearings conducted by the Hearing Examiner’s Office that include public testimony (e.g.\, rezones\, street vacations\, local improvement districts) as part of the agenda will\, of necessity\, have a public attendance component\, and unless otherwise noticed\, attendance will be possible in the City Council Chambers located at the Tacoma Municipal Building at 747 Market Street. \nIn order to expand opportunity for attendance\, these in-person hearings will still have a remote attendance option (via the internet or telephone) over the Zoom platform. This natural area is tucked away in South Tacoma\, consisting of both the more familiar Pacific Northwest forest ecosystem and also some Garry-oak prairie. Activities include caring for existing plants\, removing weeds\, and mulching. This work supports water quality\, our local wildlife\, pollinators\, and the neighboring community. \nAll are welcome\, no experience necessary!
