DESCRIPTION:How to Attend Hearings\nInterested individuals should be aware that in-person meeting restrictions related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic have now been lifted by the State and the City. As a result\, any hearings conducted by the Hearing Examiner’s Office that include public testimony (e.g.\, rezones\, street vacations\, local improvement districts) as part of the agenda will\, of necessity\, have a public attendance component\, and unless otherwise noticed\, attendance will be possible in the City Council Chambers located at the Tacoma Municipal Building at 747 Market Street. \nIn order to expand opportunity for attendance\, these in-person hearings will still have a remote attendance option (via the internet or telephone) over the Zoom platform. Youth 15 and under need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. \nFor your safety and comfort please bring: \n\nClothing that can get dirty\nLong pants and sleeves\nSturdy shoes (closed toed shoes required\, no sandals or flats)\nRain gear and warm layers (the event will happen rain or shine)\nFull water bottle!
