As a result\, any hearings conducted by the Hearing Examiner’s Office that include public testimony (e.g.\, rezones\, street vacations\, local improvement districts) as part of the agenda will\, of necessity\, have a public attendance component\, and unless otherwise noticed\, attendance will be possible in the City Council Chambers located at the Tacoma Municipal Building at 747 Market Street. \nIn order to expand opportunity for attendance\, these in-person hearings will still have a remote attendance option (via the internet or telephone) over the Zoom platform. Zoom attendance information can be found here. \nIn appeal hearings (i.e.\, hearings without public testimony)\, an in-person component is not required and the hearing will be scheduled either for in-person or remotely through technology by the preference and agreement of the parties to the appeal. \nFor members of the public wishing to attend any scheduled public hearing and/or offer testimony\, you may offer testimony in writing at any time prior to the hearing date\, and you may also participate by teleconference and offer testimony in that medium.
